lookie, lookie! i recovered something! i had no idea what i was doing, but this was a pretty good something to give reupholstering a go-round. it had been replaced a while back -- it was a simple piece of plywood and foam underneath the gawd-awful brown naugahyde. if you stop by plainview, you may have seen this fabric used here as well. (fun fact: channeling the sound of music when i purchased these curtains, i planned to use them for many a craft projects.)
don't look too close, some of the folds and pulls aren't quite spot on, but (*patting myself on the back*) i don't think it's half bad.

First off, your blog looks AWESOME! How do you do that? I can't figure out anything beyond the boring templates. Second, when I first say this post, before I even read it, I was all "Thats the groovy fabric from the letters" and sho nuf it is! It is the perfect pattern for the hip little stool, Love it. And good job on the recovering. I just did a stepstool that turned out pretty darn good. Makes you feel all happy inside doesn't it??
