working this morning...and decided to bring out a magnifying glass to make things a bit easier. we 2 or 3 magnifying glasses we've found in boxes we've purchased at auctions. "someday they'll come in handy" i thought. why did someday happen sooner than expected?
does that make us cool for having something like this (lighted!) magnifying glass on hand, or does it make me old because i have to use it? or, if i'm both, maybe that makes me cooliold (a relative of the word made up word coolio -- a word i used once at work in a conversation with my boss and am now known for)?
All I can say is I want one. With lights. It makes you cool in my book. But that's because I'm old.
ReplyDeleteI was given a decorative magnifying glass on a gold chain to list, but kept it for myself when I go thrifting for silver. I don't feel so bad since Hubby spied it and explained it was one of the best kind, and he covets it, gold flowers and all.
