Swatch Friday - Old Barn

last friday, i swatched up a lovely photo taken inside a barn. I liked doing it so much, i thought i'd try my hand at another photo of mine. the swatch 2nd in from the right is pretty close to the color of one of our walls in the living room. i do love that color. i thought i would pull all dingy grays and browns--i didn't think there would be this much green in the photo. what a nice surprise, i must say.

i think if i were going to make a room this collection of colors, i would want to have a piece or two (perhaps a set of pillows and lamp shade or tablecloth and clock) in this shade:

then it would have juuust the right amount of vintage color homage.
