thrift share: matadors and sunsets and red beehives

we had family stuff most of the day saturday, so no thrift shopping for me this weekend -- gasp! I know -- but brent was able to get to an auction on sunday -- which allowed be to be at home (where I wanted to be - I had some sweet azz granola to make and a bit o cleanin to tackle). so, how's that for teamwork? some of brent's scores are below.

a piano bench! how cool. and totally shabby and chippy and cottagey...and all the other "ey's" that are great to see. if it were double or triple in length, it would be a keeper for under our long living room window, but if it were that easy to find the perfect vintage piece -- you know the line...anything worth having is worth working for...or something wise like that.

at a price too good to pass up, these, er, beauties will be in our shop before the sun sets in one of those landscapes...even before the matador gets impaled by the bull.

freakin awesome. red beehive shaped swag lamps. yes please, i'll take two. they would look a-maze-un hung close enough to be considered a pair yet at differing heights. or maybe on each side of your bed in a very symmetrical way. gads.

tomorrow and wednesday, you get to see some of what took up my sunday, including a make-your-home-smell-heavenly-all-freakin-day-granola and a bleach-using-pinterest-inspired-activty.

what did you find this weekend? i'm linking up with apron thrift. go check out all the other thrift finds there.

6 had something to say.:

  1. Mmmm, LOVE the swag lamps. They would be so so wrong in my house, but I still love them!!

  6. I'm so embarrassed!! That was him! I thought that looks like Brent but then decided it wasn't him. I knew you would love the swags and there were some larger figuring things I even considered taking a picture of and sending to you. But then they sold when I was on a different line. Did he get the typewriter table? I left before it sold. Ok, now I can be like "how come Brent didn't say Hi to me?"
