i finally went back to the local thrift shop. i needed a break...i needed the inventory to turn over - or at least allow enough time for me to forget what i saw there so it was fresh again. even still, i came away with only a hand full of gems...
the photo makes the orange one look a lot more red than it is. here these two were, sitting side by side it the waaaay back corner of the shop, all bright and cheerful and with little to no damage aaaand they aren't all wobbly (the norm, it seems). and the price was super...even times two pieces, the price was awesome.
although staplers don't seem to be as hot of an item as they were a year or so ago, when the price is right, you buy. especial a staple item (<-- ha ha!) like a stapler. the film is actually the same as these, picked up a while back from the same store. love these sorts of finds because i already "added" it to the listing in our shop. it was as simple as upping the quantity of the current listing. the sewing roller-cutter-thinger (mom, i'm sorry, i failed you...i am not a seamstress guru like you) was priced too right to not get. also, i use them to score paper.
I found a red mug hangy thing last night at the thrift! 99 cents!!! Love it.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog!!
I have the exact same green metal thingie. I'm not really into hanging mugs and have been trying to figure out what else I could use it for. I never thought of anything so it is still shoved in a closet.
ReplyDeletehave you considered using it for jewelry? rings would be perfect on this.
